Variants are not always mutually intelligible and depend on many factors, like village or municipality of origin. For this reason, our mixteco interpreters will perform a test call with the parent/guardian to verify mutual understanding before confirming their interpreting services at your meeting.
Mixteco Interpreter Request
The PVUSD Special Services Department is grateful to have the support of trilingual interpreters in order to serve our most vulnerable populations.
Mixteco support is available Tuesday mornings (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) and Thursday afternoons (12:30 pm to 4:30 pm)
