COMMUNICATION CHART
Who should I contact first with a concern?
- Case Manager (Teacher): Contact your child's case manager to discuss the concern, challenge, or question. Case managers work the closest with students & are directly involved with their instruction. This will help solve issues the fastest.
- Program specialist or school site administrator: Program Specialists and School Administrators are working the next closest with students and directly oversee instruction and case managers at the school site.
- Program director/ Special Services administrator: Oversees at the program level. Contact to discuss issue, concern, challenge, or question that has not been resolved through contact with the Program Specialist or School Administrator.
- SELPA director/ Special Services: Oversees SELPA and Special Services Department. Contact to discuss issue, concern, challenge, or question that has not been resolved through contact with the Program Director.
- Superintendent's Office: Assistant Superintendent that oversees Special Education or Superintendent. Contact to discuss issue, concern, challenge, or question that has not been resolved through this communication ladder.
