Welcome to the Pajaro Valley Unified School District - Secondary Education Department. Our Secondary Education Team focuses on student achievement and program excellence and is responsible for the instructional direction that is taking place at our middle and high schools.  Together, with guidance and support from our Governing Board of Trustees and Superintendent Dr. Michelle Rodriguez, we are fully dedicated to ensuring that all students can reach their greatness.  At the center of our Target for Student Success is the belief that our students must leave our schools College and Career Ready.  We strive to close opportunity and achievement gaps in this ever-changing global socio-economic dynamic.  A high school diploma is no longer sufficient and students need to pursue some form of post-secondary education to stay relevant in the job market. We will continue to work diligently to pave the way for students by providing options that prepare all students for whatever future they choose.  Our District feels it is important to enhance student achievement through rigorous programs with clearly defined standards and high expectations. As such, the programs within PVUSD are based on the premise of equal access for all students to the core curriculum. It is our goal to ensure that every student has the opportunity and access to achieve academically, socially, and emotionally.
