What is required to be a driver?
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a clean DMV record and no criminal history
- Must pass a medical examination (every 2 years)
Pass written tests at DMV
- Class C

- Passenger endorsement/S endorsement
- Air brakes
Pass test at CHP
- Rules & Regulations/First Aid*
- Pre-Trip & Drive Test
- *may be waived if you have current First Aid card issued by an approved provider
