Chromebooks

Chromebooks

All PVUSD students are issued a Chromebook from their school and expected to take care of it, and bring it to school charged and ready to use everyday. The Chromebook is a central tool used by students for instruction, projects, and communication activities both in school and at home and facilitates 24/7 learning for all students and individualizes learning with instructional applications that support students at their level. This leads to increased student engagement and more ownership of learning in and out of the classroom.

General Precautions:
  • No food or drink should be next to Chromebooks.
  • Cords, cables, and removable storage devices must be inserted carefully into Chromebooks.
  • Chromebooks should not be used with the power cord plugged in when the cord may be a tripping hazard.
  • Chromebooks must remain free of any writing, drawing, stickers, and labels.
  • Heavy objects should never be placed on top of Chromebooks.
