PVUSD Student Services provides academically and culturally inclusive support services to the Whole Child, Whole Family, and Whole Community. In partnership with schools and community organizations, we ensure that every student has access to the services and resources necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Student Attendance

Our Child Welfare and Attendance Team works closely with sites to support students who face challenges with attendance. Some of the services provided by the CWA team are:
 
  • Home Visits
  • School Attendance Review Board (SARB)
  • Truancy Mediation 
  • Re-entry meetings
 

Pupil Record Archives

The Student Services Department serves as the District archive of student information recorded on the District's Pupil Record Card (PRC). This information goes back to the very beginning of schools enrolling students in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District.

Processing Student Expulsion Referrals

  • Conducting due process hearings
  • Holding regular training workshops for administrators
  • Monitoring student rehabilitation plans with parents
  • Consulting with District Legal Counsel as needed in order to keep the administration current with changes in Education Codes
 
 

Intra/ Inter District Transfers

Families can submit intra/inter district forms in the Student Services Department. This service assists families in their request to transfer their son/daughter to a school within/outside the Pajaro Valley Unified School District.
