How to apply for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten

Please check back after the winter break for enrollment information for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

On the PVUSD Home Page select the box to the right titled Enrollment.

You will be directed to the Enrollment page. Select the black rectangle labeled “TK/Kindergarten Registration Now Online!”.

You will now be directed to the Online Registration Account Access page ParentVue. Only log in if you currently have a username and password. Or if you have a child currently attending a PVUSD school or program. If you are not able to log in contact the school office of the oldest child currently enrolled at PVUSD for support.

Or select the Create a New Account option, only if you do not have children currently enrolled in a PVUSD school or program and your child is new to PVUSD. If you are not able to log in and do not have an older child enrolled in PVUSD contact the Child Development Department at 786-8270.

Once logged into ParentVue follow the steps to complete the Online Registration under the 2024-2025 school year.

Who is age eligible?

Kindergarten Age:

Child turns 5 years old before or by September 1, 2025.

Transitional Kindergarten Age:

Child turns 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025.

WHAT IS TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN?

PVUSD offers Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to students who turn 4 on or before September 1st, 2025. Transitional Kindergarten is a district-wide, free program for age-eligible students. Transportation is available on set routes.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Expanded Transitional Kindergarten (ETK) will be held at designated sites (to be determined) for the 2025-2026 school year.
