PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

Our Preschool Programs are comprehensive child developmental programs that provide high-quality early care and education services in safe and nurturing environments. The programs emphasize parent education and kindergarten readiness. 
 
Age-eligible children may participate in the State Preschools from: 
  • Four-Year-Olds: The child's birthday is on or before December 1st. 
  • Three-Year-Olds: The child's birthday is on or before December 1st OR if their 3rd birthday is on OR after December 2nd. 
 
Families must meet Eligibility Criteria set forth by the California Department of Education to qualify. Families who do not meet eligibility criteria may still receive services by paying the full tuition if spaces are available. 
Part day STATE PRESCHOOLS

Part day STATE PRESCHOOLS

Our six Part-Day preschools are located within the PVUSD district at the following locations. Part-Day state preschools are a 3-hour program that is open Monday-Friday throughout the PVUSD academic school year. Hours vary by site with AM and PM sessions offered at most sites. 
 
  • Bradley State Preschool
  • Calabasas State Preschool
  • Landmark State Preschool
  • Rolling Hills State Preschool
  • Salsipuedes State Preschool  (temporarily closed) 
  • Watsonville State Preschool

FULL DAY PRESCHOOLS

FULL DAY PRESCHOOLS

Our Full-Day center-based state preschools are open Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. year-round. Services are based on certified hours of need. 
  • Freedom Children's Center
  • Watsonville Children's Center
 
For Full-Day state preschools families must also meet Need Criteria set forth by the California Department of Education to qualify for services.
