Pajaro Valley Unified School District will hold its annual parent conference on Saturday February 21, 2009.
“Keeping the Connection” offers local parents/guardians the opportunity to learn positive practices that will support them in remaining connected to their children throughout their development. Parents/guardians will enjoy a keynote speaker and the opportunity to attend 2 informative and educational workshops; offered in English and Spanish.
The conference offers breakfast and lunch, a lunch time Community Resource Fair, childcare for ages 3-9 at Linscott School, 220 Elm St. and childcare for ages 10-14 at Watsonville High School. Parents must first register their children with the childcare facilities before registering themselves for the conference. Space is limited for childcare, so please arrive on time.
“Keeping the Connection” is sponsored by the PVUSD Departments of Federal and State Programs and Services for English Learners and is co-sponsored by PVUSD Adult Education, Extended Learning, Migrant Education, First 5 of Santa Cruz County and Santa Cruz County Reclaiming Futures Initiative.

Registration begins at 8:30 A.M. Conference ends at 2:30 P.M.
