The Pajaro Valley Unified School District is pleased to announce that Dr. Albert J. Roman was selected as the Assistant Superintendent-Human Resources at its June 11, 2008 Governing Board meeting. Albert will begin his duties on July 1, 2008.
Dr. Albert J. Roman currently serves as the Director of Human Resources Classified for PVUSD. Prior to working for PVUSD, Albert worked for the San Bernardino City Unified School District as a Human Resources Officer. In addition, Mr. Roman has worked as a consultant for various state and federal elected officials. Dr. Roman received his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Public Administration from the University of La Verne.
When asked about his new assignment:
“I am honored that the Pajaro Valley Unified School District has selected me as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. In the time I have been with the District I have been a witness to the high level of commitment that District staff have in ensuring that all students reach their highest potential. I look forward to supporting this mission in my new position.”
Mr. Roman and his wife Andrea have two children Ashley Marie and Albert Jr. both attending PVUSD schools.
