Board of Trustees Meets To Review Applications For Position of Superintendent

On Wednesday, March 26, the Board of Trustees met in closed session to review applications for the position of Superintendent. The meeting was facilitated by California School Boards Association (CSBA), Executive Search Services. In attendance were trustees Leslie De Rose, Doug Keegan, Sandra Nichols, Karen Osmundson, Libby Wilson, Willie Yahiro and myself. Representing CSBA were Dr. Elaine Collins, our district’s adviser, and three application scanners: John Quinn, Laura Alvarenga, and Dolphas Trotter.

The board reviewed nineteen applications from highly qualified individuals and decided to invite for an interview candidates that we felt would be a good match for our District’s needs. The interviews will be taking place Friday – Sunday, April 11th through April 13th.

The process to hire a Superintendent is well on its way and we are looking forward to a successful completion of this process.
