Certificated Evaluation System

The certificated evaluation system in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) is a professional growth and assessment system based on teaching standards.  The system is grounded in the belief that through genuine and honest self-reflection and self-assessment, combined with input and guidance from the supervisor, and peers in some cases, students and schools would be best served and everyone would grow personally and professionally in a positive and nuturing environment.  The system also takes into account the differing developmental needs of certificated staff over the course of their career and includes differentiation of the basic elements of assessment to better match the professional growth needs of non-tenured and tenured teachers.
For a detailed description of the system, including standards, timelines, forms, etc., please visit the
evaluation page.
