DRIVER TRAINING REQUIREMENT	STATE OF CALIFORNIA	PVUSD
Classroom	20 hours	35-45 hours
Behind the Wheel	20 hours	40-45 hours
T-01 Hours (Inservice)	10 hours	10 hours

 

 

What’s required to be a driver?
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a clean DMV record and no criminal history
Must pass a medical examination (every 2 years)
Pass Written Tests at DMV:	Pass Tests at CHP:
Class C	Rule’s & Regulations/First Aid Test*
Class B	Pre-Trip & Drive Test
Passenger Endorsement/S Endorsement Air Brakes	(*may be waived if you have a current   First Aid Card issued by American Red Cross)
